- Latest Idea - Our latest stock pick can be found here.
- Favourite Ideas - This page shows the stocks which we feel currently have the most potential for growth. This is a great place to start if you have just joined, or are putting together a "self select" ISA portfolio.
- Last 10 Updates - This page shows all recent updates, including recent stock picks as well as instructions to sell a stock or take profits. If you have not visited the site for a while, this is where you can track the latest developments in thewrongprice.com portfolio.
- All buy stocks - Here we list all stocks in our portfolio (not just our favourites) which we believe still have growth potential.
- Show all stocks - This page includes all stocks which we have tipped in the past. As well as our buy recommendations, you will see previously tipped stocks which we suggest holding for the moment. We also show our closed positions ("sold") along with their performance.

| Stocks and Bulletins |
| |
| We list stocks by name and ticker symbol. On any of the member pages, you can click on a stock for a description, and view "bulletins" which represent the stock tip and any update concerning an individual stock. The original "tip" is a bulletin, and we also publish further updates, dividend information etc as bulletins. These are summarised on longer pages, and shown in full when you click a particular stock name. |
| Stock Status |
| |
- Buy - This stock is a recommended buy, with growth potential
- Hold - No longer on our "buy" list, we suggest that you hold onto this stock pending further updates
- Sell - Sell bulletins remain current for a month. If you have a position in this stock, we advise selling.
- Sold - Our historic (>1 month) closed positions remain listed as "sold" for reference purposes.

| Bulletins |
| |
| Bulletins are listed by date. Each bulletin has a "headline" summarising the content, a price (for buy/sell/dividend values), and the FTSE index at the time the bulletin was issued (this is used to calculate relative performance).
- Buy - The first bulletin for a stock is always a "Buy", telling you the current stock price, how much we think the stock is worth and why.
- Update - any new information about a stock. When we update a stock, we may change the stock status as well, for example from "Buy" to "Hold".
- Dividend - we publish a bulletin whenever a company in our portfolio pays a dividend. The "price" column indicates the amount of the dividend.
- Take Profits - a bulletin suggesting that you sell a proportion of your holding (almost always 50%)
- Sell - a bulletin indicating that we are closing our position - ie time to sell the stock.
Note: If a company is liquidated (and this is sometimes a desirable outcome) we present this as a "sell". If a company returns cash, we treat this as a dividend. Finally, a return of capital is treated as "take profits". The text of the bulletin will explain the event in more detail. |
